Our vision

If you love books, then you love used bookstores, where you can wander around and stir your curiosity. It's even better in a cozy space where you can tuck into comfortable places to sit and read what you've discovered. This is the special pleasure that book lovers seek.

Capitol Street Books was imagined and developed by people who love books and bookstores. We want to be your host to a world of possibilities that lead to joyful moments like finding an early novel by an author you love or a nonfiction book on a subject that's brand new to you. And we want to make it possible for anyone of any age to build their own home library with plentiful, accessibly priced books.

You'll find all this and more as you explore our shelves at Capitol Street Books. We can't wait to open our doors to you at 206 West Capitol Street.
